LeEco L2 Review

Recently, I was asked to attend the launch of LeEco L2 and LeMax 2 in Delhi. Unfortunately, due to my prior commitments I could not make it! Nevertheless, post launch at Delhi, LeEco had a fun #Superfan session organized at Hardrock Cafe recently. It was the first time I got my hands-on the LeEco L2 phone. I had been planning to buy a cost effective smart phone for my mother. After searching and testing a lot of phones, I have finally found a phone which matches my needs and yet looks super stylish.

Popularly called Le2, the smart phone is just not about specifications, but as proclaimed stands up to the tag of #2Future phone. The sleek metal body in rose gold combined with qualcomm snapdragon 652 processor is the ultimate package. For the non geeks, lets just say the specifications are top-notch and finding it at a cost Rs. 11999/- is the best bargain ever! Someone who has been an iPhone user, I must say Le2 impressed me so much that I am considering to shift phones. The biggest attraction being even with a metal body the phone is as light as a feather. The laser cut finish gives it a premium finish and makes it an "Fashion blogger" phone.

The Le2 comes with 5.5 inch in Cell Full HD (1920 * 1080) display, 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage. The Le2 offers a 16MP rear camera with LED Flash. The front camera boasts an 8MP camera for selfie addicts. For a fashion blogger like me who makes my mother take unlimited photos, it means unlimited selfies! It also houses different modes to make your selfie picture perfect. Though there isn't an option to expand memory, the sufficient built in memory makes it a win-win!

My verdict : The phone gets a 4 star rating. For all smart phone junkies, the phone is a perfect combination of affordability, class and high end specifications. It's a thumbs up from Stilettos Diary team!

P.S. I did check out other phones in market such as Samsung A7/ A9, Xiaomi. None of the phones came close to Le2. I did gift this phone to my mother last week! Trust me it turned out to be a really good surprise. I will be sharing photos of her using the phone and unboxing shortly on my social medias!

A good start!

To me, morning is an important time of the day. How I spend my morning usually decides the kind of day I am going to have. Most of us have 50 to 60 work hours during a week. It is extremely important to create a morning ritual to combat distractions. For someone who has a daytime job and runs a blog, I need to balance time out. Mornings are usually "me time". Today, I thought I will share my morning rituals through photos.

1. Get up early : I know sounds cliché. Unfortunately I am one of those old souls, who likes to go to bed early and get up early. Having head start in the day gives me extra time for myself before I get lost in the rat race.

2. Cup of Water : My morning usually starts with a cup of lukewarm water. It helps cleanse your body by flushing out the toxins. It also helps improve blood circulation.

3. A bowl of fruit : I am a huge Rujuta Diwekar follower. I followed her diet and it did wonders for me to lose weight. Yes, I have been on and off the weight loss wagon. Starting your day with fruit balances your system levels. My go to fruit is papaya. I have been eating it for years now.

4. Dress Up : It is important, I spend some time taking a hot water shower and getting ready. I usually spend little extra time setting my hair and doing my makeup. It makes a huge difference to my confidence level. I love comfortable and classy work wear. My wardrobe is filled with them. I love wearing lace and pearls to work. If you have been following my blog, you would have noticed the zillion times I have restyled this lace skirt.

5. Read : Morning is the best time to read. I start my day reading newspaper, fashion magazines and blogs. I usually check my favorite blogs out. I also land up answering few blog emails.

As important it is to follow my morning ritual, it is extremely important for me to have a cozy and warm place for myself when I am reading or having my morning fruit bowl. My go to places in my house have always been the kitchen and the dressing room.

I am not someone who walks out in the morning. I prefer going for walks late in the evening. After this, I am off to work to start my day!

If you have few moments to spare, do share your morning routine and what you thought of the styling.

Loads of love,

LP Cup 2016 - Gala Dinner & Celeb Styling

Louis Philippe is the premier Indian brand catering to men's fashion. Recently, they hosted the 5th edition of the Louis Philippe Cup that was held at the Karnataka Golf Association from 1st June – 4th June 2016. Prior to the event they hosted a Gala dinner at ITC Gardenia. I was invited for the Gala dinner and do a celeb styling on the next day (perks of being a blogger!)

To be really honest, one of the reasons I wanted to attend the event was Ajit Agarkar. I am huge fan of Ajit Agarkar since 5th standard. I never thought my blog will one day open up avenues to make one of most cherished dream of meeting Ajit Agarkar come true! The 10 year old in me was literally fangirling throughout the event. I am grateful for each and every one of you for reading the blog and making this dream come true! Thank you so much!

I got a chance to meet amazing people during the event. The gala opening dinner and pro-am of the tournament has had a legendary following, and it attracted stars such as R.Madhavan, Mani Ratnam, Ajit Agarkar, Charu Sharma, Syed Kirmani and Papa CJ amongst others.

The next day, post Gala dinner, LP decided to a fun celeb styling session for which I was invited. I was suppose to style Ajit Agarkar, but unfortunately he had to leave because his flight was pre-poned. The 10 year old in me was sad, but then I got someone fun to style - Papa CJ. Had a fun rendezvous when shooting his photos. He shared about his idea of style - casual and comfortable. He never has followed trends blindly. His go to outfit ideas is jeans and t-shirt. In between the shoots he did run away with the LP Cup as well! Keeping his fun and happy go lucky attitude, I styled him in LP Jeans collection. The fun prints and blue jeans were perfect against the tan accessories.

About LP Cup : The four day, 72 hole tournament approved by the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will have a purse of Rs. 1.2 crore, the second highest for any domestic tournament in India. A total of eight teams vying for the top honours at the 5th Louis Philippe Cup which tees off at the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) in Bengaluru from May 31st, 2016. The Louis Philippe Cup has had a rich history featuring Jeev Milkha Singh, Jyoti Randhawa, Anirban- Lahiri, Gaganjeet Bhullar, SSP Chowrasia and many other Indian star players competing regularly.
